Director: emergency medical services
Stanton is a fourth year medical student at A.T. Still University School of Osteopathic Medicine in Arizona. He will be completing his residency training in Emergency Medicine at St. Barnabas Hospital in the Bronx, NYC. Stanton is a co-founder of Capacidad, a student led global health organization that focuses on sustainable and culturally sensitive international health work. He helped initiate the Peruvian Community Health Worker (CHW) project and is currently working on the Ugandan Village Health Team (VHT) project. Prior to beginning his medical training Stanton worked in rural emergency medical services. He will be using his experience to develop emergency medical services in both Peru and Uganda, as well as other areas of the world where they do not exist.
