Daniel Muller, DO, MPH, MS

Director of Pediatrics

Dan is a current pediatrics and global health resident in Houston, Texas. Born and raised in Stamford, Connecticut, he has earned degrees from the University of Richmond, Emory University, and Tufts University. Before attending medical school he spent over 6 years as a middle and high school teacher in Honduras, South Korea, Boston, and Connecticut. After globetrotting for a decade he attended A.T. Still University School of Osteopathic Medicine in Arizona, and did his clinical years in Chicago. He began working with MGY as a medical student as a way to stay involved in global health work as well as education.

MGY's focus on sustainable healthcare capacity building and community-based programing aligned perfectly with his background in public health, and he is extremely grateful for the opportunity to work with a team of passionate, like-minded individuals. When he is not busy in the hospital, Dan enjoys paddle-boarding, the Grateful Dead, and eating as many tacos as he can get his hands on.
