MGY receives funding from Arizona Osteopathic Charities

For the second year in a row, the Arizona Osteopathic Charities (AOC) have granted funding to MGY for our Community Health Worker training programs in Pader, Uganda and Loreto, Peru.

These funds will provide vital advancements to the CHW curriculum and unique learning opportunities to the Arizona osteopathic medical students who develop and conduct these programs.  Students gain hands-on experience in community program development, rural health training, integrating osteopathic principles and manipulative medicine into program curriculum, non-governmental organization collaboration, and teamwork in rural settings of health training.

Thank you very much to the AOC for your continued support!
